I'm considering selling or trading my FEG Hungarian SA85M to get something that I might actually shoot. I bought this rifle in 1992 and have kept it pretty much as a safe queen.It has seen minimal rounds over the years, probably in the neighborhood of 200-300 total shots fired and it's in really excellent condition. This is a fairly rare AK variant. Few were imported before the 1994 ban.

This was one of the post 89 rifles where they had come into the country in sporterized form. This one has had the muzzle threaded with a detent added and the furniture replaced with a beech stock and handguard.To comply with 922(r) requirements, the original trigger, hammer and disconnector were replaced with a RSA adjustable two-stage hammer/trigger, the slant brake is US manufactured, the pistol grip is a Tango Down BG-AK, and the piston is US made. I have all of the original parts that came on the rifle except the hideous thumbhole stock. I'll include a steel Hungarian 30rd magazine and a 30rd Magpul PMAG.

Ideally, I'd like to find one of the guns on my short wish list to trade with cash added on either end depending on the trade value. For newer rifles, a Tavor X95 in 5.56, a Tavor 7, or a Galil Ace Gen 1 or 2. For older and military rifles, a really nice Savage 99 in .300 Savage or .250-3000 that hasn't been drilled and tapped, nice older Marlin or Winchester lever rifles in calibers other than .30-30 (maybe a Marlin 336 or Winchester 94 in .32 Special, a Winchester 71, 1886, or 1895), a correct Smith Corona 1903A3 (a six groove would really interest me), a nice Krag rifle or genuine Krag carbine. For the military rifles, I'm only looking for an exceptional example. I already have the run of the mill ones. No rearsenaled (other than an arsenal pass through), sporterized, drilled and tapped, or with a cracked stock. Let me know what you've got. Please, no barn finds or other trade options that are not close to what I've listed.
