* This particular model features a cartridge stop mechanism that allows the rifle to properly position and feed all three case lengths, short, long and long rifle, from the tubular magazine.

Amadeo Rossi S.A. of Brazil built the Model 62 as a faithful reproduction of the classic American slide-action gallery rifle, and Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia handled importation from 1970 until the line was discontinued in 1998. The 62SA is the full-size variant with the 23" barrel; the shorter 62SAC carbine used a 16.5" barrel. An exposed hammer, tube-fed design, and tool-free takedown construction made these a longtime favorite for plinking, small game, and shooting-gallery style practice, and discontinued Interarms-marked examples continue to draw collector interest.
