Amadeo Rossi S.A. of Brazil built the Model 62 as a faithful reproduction of the classic American slide-action gallery rifle, and Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia handled importation from 1970 until the line was discontinued in 1998. The 62SA is the full-size variant with the 23" barrel; the shorter 62SAC carbine used a 16.5" barrel. An exposed hammer, tube-fed design, and tool-free takedown construction made these a longtime favorite for plinking, small game, and shooting-gallery style practice, and discontinued Interarms-marked examples continue to draw collector interest.
