New, never fished, Sage 'Circa' model 479-4 graphite fly rod. 7' 9", 4 pc, 4 wt. with labeled sock and tube. This is a slower more traditional action fly rod than other very stiff, fast tip action Sage rods. Sage calls it "Konnetic Technology". The progressive action is better suited for fishing smaller flies and to deliver a delicate and accurate presentation. Here in Central PA, we are now in warmer weather, lower water conditions. Gone now are the high flows we enjoyed all Spring. This rod is perfectly suited for delicately presenting small flies on very fine tippets.
