Gun Show at Cross Fork Rattlesnake Hunt June 27-28, 2026, southern Potter County Cross Fork
Gun Show in the Kettle Creek Hose Company Truck Bay at the Cross Fork Rattlesnake Hunt.
In the beautiful wilds of southern Potter County, PA, on June 27th & 28th, 2026, the Kettle Creek Hose Company will be holding their most important fund raising event of the year - the Cross Fork Snake Hunt - in cooperation with the Keystone Reptile Club. Visitors come from all over to be part of this event. Licensed reptile hunters will be bringing in live Timber Rattlers, Copperheads, Black Snakes, and other species that are caught locally (and returned to the wild after the event). There is a reptile exhibit where experts show and speak about these and other snakes, allowing attendees to (safely) view and handle them. There will be a Gun Show in the Truck Bay of the Fire House with a variety of firearms, ammunition, knives, scopes and other accessories. There are a variety of vendors on the grounds selling leather and wood crafts, tools, T-shirts and other clothing, souvenirs, jerky, pickles, and more. There is a motorcycle show, a horseshoe tournament, and live music, with chicken barbeque, soda, beer, and raffle tickets to win $5,000 and $10,000 at the event. Local restaurants/bars will be geared up for this great annual event. The Kettle Creek is one of the premier trout streams in Pennsylvania. The Cross Fork Creek feeds the Kettle, and other smaller feeder brooks hold some of the most beautiful native trout in existence. There are several campgrounds in the area. Come out to this event for a great time!
